GERÄUSCHEREIGNISSE
Zu jedem Ort gehören wilde Geräusche. Ums Bruderhaus rascheln Tannen, auf der Zürcherstrasse rattern Motoren, am Kirchplatz schallen Glocken. Die Bezeichnung für diese charakteristischen, ortsgebundenen Hörwelten lautet «Soundscape» – bekannt wurde sie durch den Klangforscher Murray Schafer. Wenn ihr die Winterthurer «Klanglandschaften» erkunden wollt, spitzt beim nächsten Spaziergang einfach eure Ohren!
TONKOMPOSITIONEN
Zum Stadtklang gehören aber auch die Kompositionen, Songs, Tracks, die ihre Bewohner*innen schaffen. Wir hör(t)en sie an den Musikfestwochen, den vielen Openairs (Grienen, Bambole, Eidberger, Sternen, Rap im Stadtpark) und in den Clubs (Albani, Dimensione, ESSE, Gaswerk, Kraftfeld, Salzhaus). Als Kassette, CD oder Platte geniessen wir sie daheim. Und Radio Stadtfilter äthert sie mitunter durch die Membranen unserer Transmitter.
SOUNDSPHÄRE
Erst der Zusammenklang aus Klanglandschaften und Lokalmusik macht die ganze Winterthurer Sound- sphäre aus. Um herauszufinden, wie sie klingt, empfehlen wir dir am zweiten Samstag des Monats Mai – wir erklären ihn hiermit höchstoffiziell zum «Tag der Soundsphäre» – Stadt und Umland in die Tanzfläche einer (pandemiegerechten) Kopfhörerdisco zu verwandeln. Nehmen wir – dieses Jahr – den 15. Mai 2021 zum Anlass, einmal konzentriert Winterthurer Musik zu hören. Zur Einstimmung haben wir diese Liste mit lokalen Musiker*innen erstellt.
